Kelly’s experience in Finance, Operations Management, Logistics, SAAS, Retail, Import/Export, Manufacturing, and Small Business Consulting has prepared her to lead others to success. This experience, expertise, and passion for small businesses gave her a unique insight into the business world and fed her desire to start The Profit Firm.
Kelly believes in ethical transparency in everything The Profit Firm does, from operations to the rates they charge. She strives to help small business owners gain financial freedom by creating several revenue streams and positioning them as the leader in their industry.

Married with two children, 25 and 19, Kelly loves spending time with family, traveling, dining at locally owned restaurants (foodie in the making), and pursuing a healthy lifestyle.

Matthew Roberts
VP of Finance
Matt Roberts is a licensed tax professional with a passion for educating clients through the tax
planning and preparation process. Matt has experience in private, public, and non-profit accounting, giving him insight into the needs of his clients. His focus is helping businesses increase their bottom line without losing their profit to taxes. Matt serves as our Vice President of Finance, working with clients on complex business solutions, increasing profits, and tax strategies.

When Matt is not working, you will find him at the park with his wife and three kids, running, or playing chess.

Kristie James
Finance Manager
Kristie brings over 20 years of experience in Account Management, Bookkeeping, and Accounting. She
thrives on building client relationships and exceeding expectations. Kristie is certified in Xero and is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She has worked with many industries and is fluent in international financial management. Leveraging her experience and excellent communication, she perfectly represents The Profit Firm brand.

When she is not crunching numbers, Kristie loves to spend time with her family and her first grandbaby! She is also a diehard Green Bay Packers fan! Go Pack, Go!

Kyle Hunter
Data Analyst
Kyle serves as our Data Analyst working within the company to evaluate, prepare, and compile financial data
for us and the clients' needs. He responds to data-related queries and categorizes information with great efficacy. He is sure to quickly assist in alleviating any concerns off the shoulders of our clients.
Kyle will diligently deliver results to assist in ensuring goals are being exceeded. He is familiar with a range of topics congruent to many parts of a growing business with Kyle's professional experience in private company sales positions, financial negotiation, and international logistical management.
With a seasoned history of professional skills in place he compliments our team exceptionally. A keen eye for attention to detail and the no-fluff demeanor has made him an invaluable asset in his prior career and a welcome addition into his current role.
When Kyle is not behind his desk, you will find him at his home reading, painting on a canvas, or at your local bowling lanes.

Kayden Black
Office Assistant Intern
Kayden Black is a Business major with a minor in Kinesiology at the University of North Georgia.
Kayden helps The Profit Firm with social media, networking, and serves as an office assistant. She is eager to learn the ropes of working in an office setting as she plans to move to Florida to work in a corporate setting.
When Kayden is not in the office, she works part time at Starbucks, and has a passion for motorcycles and working out.
Kasey Kitzhaber
Director of Operations
Kasey brings a fresh perspective to our team and has over 15 years of operations experience. In her
DOO position, she is the driving force behind our client’s operations and management division and is also responsible for client onboarding.
She looks forward to growing with The Profit Firm and meeting new clients while nurturing relationships with current clients.
When Kasey is not in the office, she enjoys grilling out and skateboarding with her husband and kiddos. She loves vacationing in Florida with her family and going on trips with her sisters.

Senior Bookkeeping Manager
Jess Smyth is a finance professional with over 10 years of experience leveraging extensive skills in managing
web/mobile applications, BPO, and financial consulting to achieve progressive financial prosperity for a vast number of businesses domestically and internationally. Jess will bring her expertise in system automation and creating streamlined processes to simplify bookkeeping for our clients.
Jess enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, Labrador Retriever, and cat. She loves to be outdoors with her family swimming, fishing, hiking, and camping.

Bookkeeper
Kayla Rodgers is joining us with a diverse background that includes roles as a Judicial Assistant to a
Juvenile Court Judge and a 911 Dispatcher, she brings a unique set of skills and experiences to the financial world. Her journey in the legal and emergency services fields has honed her organizational and detail-oriented nature, qualities she now channels into the world of bookkeeping.
Beyond the numbers, she is passionate about animals and finds solace in spending quality time with her loving husband and their daughter.
