The Profit Firm: Bookkeeping Onboarding Process

Step 1:

Discovery Call

We begin by reviewing the client’s current bookkeeping situation, confirming service needs, and outlining the next steps. Following the call, the client receives a Quote, Engagement Agreement, and Portal Invite.

Step 2:

Onboarding Session

During this session, we identify and refine the tier of Service for the account & and gather all required credentials & information/access:

Compliance
Profit Planner
Fractional CFO

Outcome: A clear, customized action plan outlining what the client and our team will implement to deliver accurate & timely reports.

Step 3:

Introduction to your Dedicated Bookkeeper

You are a assigned a dedicated Bookkeeper that will be your main point of contact through our secure portal.

Step 4:

Clean Up

If your account requires clean up - our team will complete this first to confirm we are starting from an accurate source of truth for the financials.

Step 5:

Weekly Bookkeeping Management

Our bookkeepers manage accounts on a Daily & Weekly basis - we do not wait until Month End to complete your books.

Clients will receive a weekly Friday email if there are any questions on the account.

Step 6:

Monthly Reports & Meetings

All Service Tier will receive an Executive Management Financial Report Package posted to your secure portal.

Depending on your Service Tier this is when you will also have your Monthly Financial Meeting with either your Bookkeeper or your Fractional CFO.

Step 7:

Payroll & Other Add Ons

We are a full service firm, which mean we also handle Payroll, Sales Tax, A/R, A/P and more - each client has a customized solution created for them based on their needs and budget.
